WELCOME TO JIBA COLLEGE
JIBA College was established in September 2007 as a co-educational institution to provide a high quality education in a happy, caring and supportive environment. We develop the whole essence of the Total Child, encompassing the brain and the beauty, working from inside all the way through to the outside. We foster genuine love for learning through carefully planned and enriched school experiences.
Our curriculum, both in and outside the classroom, provide challenging experiences for our students academically, socially, physically, while promoting in them a spirit of tolerance and understanding towards others. Our students are given opportunities to develop open and enquiring minds through problem solving and co-operative learning activities.
At the same time we believe in the need for an academically demanding program me which emphasizes traditional values of hard work and self discipline. Through our curriculum, we endeavour to develop self-esteem and a feeling of worth in each student.
While endeavoring “TO EXCEL”, students are prepared as future leaders in their chosen callings. The College motto: “To Excel” underscores the Institution’s vision of providing first class education backed by some of the best available resources in the country.
At JIBA College all efforts are geared towards producing a total child who is able to continue intellectual abilities with skills and uphold moral values. To achieve this, competent staff, well equipped laboratories, library, modern sports facilities, a congenial environment suitable for learning and other activities are in place.
In addition, full boarding facilities, with state of the art sporting facilities will be provided e.g. football and cricket pitches, athletics track, basketball and table tennis courts, a multi-purpose gymnasium.
In fact, there is every hope that the College will metamorphose into an accredited Polytechnic/University.

CURRICULUM
JIBA College curriculum emphasizes education of the whole person; thus a wide range of subjects are offered to cater for all students with an academic focus. The curriculum is broad based and aimed at enlarging the coast of our students’ attainment in consonance with the Federal/Lagos State policies on education. In addition, we teach students the rudiments of computer education to enhance their worth and relevance in the society. Highly qualified and experienced staff guide the students in learning, aided by well-equipped Science Laboratories, Home Economics, Art, Craft, Designs and computer centers. Students are prepared for Junior School Certificate Examination (JSCE), Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), General Certificate Examination (GCE).
